RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR COLLEGE

General Discipline

  • The college places the highest priority on discipline. Every student and staff member must strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the institution.
  • The Principal is empowered to impose disciplinary action, including fines, suspension, or expulsion, in the interest of maintaining order and integrity.

Conduct on Campus

  • Students must conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb classes or fellow students.
  • Ragging, consumption of alcohol, and smoking are strictly prohibited within the hostel and campus premises.
  • No functions or events may be organized by students without prior permission from the Principal.
  • Writing on walls, furniture, bathrooms, or blackboards is forbidden.
  • Damage to college property will be charged to the responsible student(s), in addition to disciplinary action.

Use of Devices and Facilities

  • Mobile phones are not permitted inside the college campus.
  • Browsing or misuse of internet facilities during lab hours is strictly prohibited.
  • Listening to music from any device is not allowed within the campus.

Classroom Etiquette

  • Eating snacks or lunch inside classrooms or corridors is not permitted.
  • Students must switch off fans and lights when leaving classrooms.
  • Furniture must not be moved or displaced.
  • Dress code: Students are not allowed to attend classes or college functions wearing shorts, dhotis, jeans, or T-shirts.

Hostel Rules

  • No student shall remain in the hostel during class hours unless sick and officially permitted to be on leave.
  • Exchange of greeting cards, photographs, gift articles, or letters between students of the opposite sex is prohibited.

Transport Discipline

  • Whistling, hooting, shouting, or singing aloud is not permitted while travelling in the college bus.
  • Throwing papers or other articles inside or outside the bus is strictly forbidden.

Examination Rules

  • Students must carry all necessary items (hall ticket, admit card, pen, pencil, calculator, scale, eraser, etc.) to the examination hall.
  • Students must remain in the hall for the entire duration of internal tests and university examinations.
  • Continued poor performance in internal tests or poor attendance may result in the Principal withholding permission to appear for university examinations.
